I have a form with four fields.

Relational field - Vendor
Relational field - Legal Ticket
Sub Relational field - Legal Vendor
Text Field - Legal Comments (for testing)

I'm just trying to use a form action (javascript) to read the sub relational vendor value and move it to the Vendor field. I know that it is reading the sub relational field because it is putting the value in the Vendor Comments field without any issues. However, it wont set the Vendor relational field value. I know it is a valid value because both fields use the same aux table. I'm at a loss. This should be so simple.

var vend = GetFieldValue("Legal Vendor");

SetFieldValue("Vendor Comments",vend);

When you're on your form are the values of the Vendor field available? Meaning is the dropdown list populated at the time? If the only available value at the time is (None) then it won't set the value but if all the values are available in the dropdown list it should work.

    That was it. Thanks. Unfortunately, it doesn't work in a triggered transition. Makes sense I guess since the triggered transition isn't technically opening a form. I'll probably have to go the AppScript route.
