It would be nice if there were a "Move" link/button on the right side of the “Requirements” screen so that a user doesn't have to navigate to Administration > Organize by Category menu options instead.

  • It would be nice if there were a "Move" link/button on the right side of the “Requirements” screen so that a user doesn't have to navigate to Administration > Organize by Category menu options instead.

Every time a new user wants to move a requirement, I always get stuck with a phone call to show the user how to move requirements.

A "Move" button on the right side of the screen that lights up when one or more requirement(s) are selected seems more intuitive than the current setup in RM 12.4.1. Either that, or a right-click context menu could be added to requirements much like the Primefaces JSF framework does with their "context menu" component.

The attached “Move Button.png” shows a visual description of what this enhancement request is looking for.

After pressing the “move” button, the user would get the same pop-up that appears when the user navigates to the Administration > Organize by Category menus, except that The Class for the requirements selected, and the selected requirements are also auto-selected in the pop-up “Organize by Category” window.

With addition of the Move button on the Requirements tab (and optionally a right-click context-menu), I believe we will have a much more intuitive way to move RM requirements.

I would also like to say thank you to the RM development team that turned this product around for the better over the past year or two.
