Manage simple tasks, assign to a group, to a group member.

Define recurring tasks and have an audit trail of their completion.

  • In this simple but effective task management application there are three types of items:

    1. work order:
      • A task that can be assigned to a group or a member of a group with a planned date.
      • The task may be reassigned, completed or rejected
      • have an audit trail of the task history and follow correct task completion
    2. Work Instruction
      • Define an instruction that must be observed during a specified period.
      • Once the end date is reached, the item is closed automatically.
    3. Work Order Schedule
      • Define a work order with a frequency. (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
      • work orders will be automatically generated for the targeted schedule dates
      • These work orders may be treated like standard work orders (reassign / reject / complete)
      • You can specify a number of days for which works orders will be generated in advance. For example if you specify one week, you always have a view on next weeks tasks.
      • Simple way to keep an audit trail on recurring tasks (for example: check end of day balance monday-friday at 18h00)

This is a great and simple way to manage tasks between groups.

What makes it even better is the possibility to create schedules, that generate tasks on a defined frequency. For each work order instance it gives you traceability on the timeliness of execution and you get statistics on how tasks are distributed among teams or individuals.

    Sébastien,

thank you very much for sharing this application!

I ran into an error using the app while submitting a work order project. The "waiting" image stays forever.
    I found in the Eventlog:
    SCRIPT NOT FOUND
Unable to read script "jsonTools" by name from database
Failed on $INCLUDE( jsonTools ) in script "WO_URL_GetUsersFromGroup"

It looks like the jsonTools appscript is missing in the AppScripts Folder.
